Description: Rare 1997 August September Electronic's Boutique Catalog Issue 3 Description Up for sale is a vintage (or nearing vintage, I should say) Electronic's Boutique August September catalog from 1997 with the designation of being issue number 3. This catalog (along with a few others which I'm still in the process of listing) was kept in an open tote crate for the past few decades which had collected and built up quite a bit of dust on it and also played host to a termite infestation (the result of which left me with no choice but to throw away many other catalogs and what have you). This catalog, however, was spared from that termite feast, however, it still may exhibit some signs of wear brought on by overall age and general storage. These signs of wear appear mostly in the form of foxing (i.e. yellowing and/or staining) throughout the cover and the pages of the publication. The catalog also has some immediately noticeable creases and/or slight scuff marks on the cover as well as some bent pages here and there which are typically visible along the corners of certain pages and whatnot. Basically put, this catalog bears all the hallmarks of a publication from such vintage. One of the staples (the bottom one) has a broken top leg which is visible when the catalog is opened at the center (i.e. the pages where the quick order form is located). This order form also has a pair of tears (that look like they were made with a pair of short scissor cuts) located along the left side of the page. Furthermore, the original recipient address which was originally printed on the rear cover as well as on this very same order form was intentionally rubbed out with acetone until it faded (for the purpose of anonymity and what have you). This may have left some wear and tear on the surface of the cover and on that very same order form page; which is the reason why the area was covered up with a few blank shipping label decals layered on top of one another. Because of the rarity of this item (and its availability only happening every once in a while) I'm pricing it accordingly.
