I have left the cat untouched as new owners may prefer them that way or like to paint the cat to suit. I have not been able to find out the company or mould that the foundry mark KA refers to. If you happen to know I would love to hear. These cat doorstops have nearly all been repainted or might be a later model. I have yet to see one that has been left in its original condition.
