Description: Rare complete set: Full Stamp Sheet and First Day Cover 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Oleksa Novakovsky Issued 3/14/2022 — Withdrawn from circulation on 05/19/2022- sheet 170x90 mm, stamp 52x25.2 mm, 6 stamps, denomination V- First Day Cover postmark Kyiv 3/14/2022The stamp issue "150th anniversary of the birth of Oleksa Novakovsky" was issued by Ukrposhta on 3/14/2022. Due to the Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine and the propaganda use of the letters V and Z as a sign of support for military aggression, Ukrposhta order №903 withdrew from circulation of stamps with nominal value V, which were issued after 2/24/2022 and declared them invalid for payment of postal services. Of the total circulation of 130,000, 100,730 stamps were withdrawn and destroyed, while the remaining 29,270 stamps had already managed to be sold. The rarity of this issue has significantly increased the value of the stamp sheet and first day cover "150th Anniversary of the Birth of Oleksa Novakovsky" among philatelic collectors.
