Rolleiflex MX 75mm Tessar Nice Condition with Baffles Rollei TLR

Description: Here is a very nice MX Rollei. This the last version with the internal baffles in the film chamber. And it has the world famous Zeiss Tessar lens. This example doesn’t have as much wear on paint and plated parts as many of them out there. This one must have been sold on the German market as it has the distance scale in meters and the chart on the back is in German. Adds character! Back fits very well. Hood and magnifiers seem to function correctly. Glas of the taking lens looks very good to my naked eye, but when I use magnification (like a 10x loupe), I can see in the center of the front element and area of scratches or micro pitts, in the coating. There are stains on shutter blades so in close up lens pic don’t confuse these with marks on the glass. Focus moves nicely, the transport/cocking lever moves nicely and feels good. Hood opens and closes nicely. Shutter doesn’t fire with the release, or a cable release or the self timer. After a CLA, this will be a very nice example of the early 50’s Rolleiflex.
