Description: Very good antique preowned used condition brass Tzar Russian Samovar, polish is gone in some places from time and cleaning. This Samovar is 15" tall without a kettle and 18" tall with a kettle on top of it. This Samovar has Tzar Russia Stamp and says that it’s made in Tula at the second half of 19th century at the Tzar’s Court manufacture that was inherited from I.Batashov by his son N.Batashov and awarded by two medals dated 1873 World Fair and 1865. Also has The Finest Quality stamp. I’m not sure how safe would it be use boiled water from this samovar for tea of coffee but it’s is still fully equipped to boil water in it, keep it warm and dispense it. It also comes with little tea kettle to cover the top of Samovar and to steep loose tea leaves. There is a dent at the lower part of the kettle. Also, there is an engraving on one of the stand's sides that is not in Russian, most likely it's an engraving in one of the Middle East countries. Please see pictures as they are part of description. Thank you very much for looking!
