The flamboyant and ornate design is ideal for the show ring. They are made from the finest quality brushed satin solid nickel silver with one line engraved included. They can be attached with brads, or screws ($1.95 extra) to the cantle of your saddle , or rivets to your halter. Can also be used for pet and ID tags. (Halter or pet tags should be mounted with rivets.) Perfect for identifying your horse's lineage, owner, phone number, etc. with an optional second line ($3 extra). They are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are extremely sturdy and create an elegant finish to the halter. They can also be used for mounting with rivets to leather belts, bracelets and key chains. We rotary diamond engrave the name five times into the nickel silver, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw nickel silver is then double acid oxidized to produce the darkened image. Our nickel silver plates are the finest quality available for engraving, and are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. The plate is .050" thick, almost that of a dime, so it is very sturdy, and will add an elegant finish to your tack.
