Description: Sadler Silver Luster Mercury Ceramic Pitcher White Leaf Vintage 1601 R This is a very pretty, hand-painted 4 cup/28 oz. pitcher made by Sadler in England; stamped in black on the bottom. The bottom also shows the initials in silver of the artist who painted the pitcher. Its one of many tea pots and pitchers made by Sadler. This one is 5½" tall and 7½" across from the handle to the tip of spout. It has silver leaf shapes against an ivory background. Its in excellent condition with a nice wide foot. It was made in the 1940's and is ready to use.
