Description: SantaFe Style Primitive Cupboard. This pine cupboard is a one of a kind vintage piece with glass in the doors and on the sides, (missing four panes). Not a reproduction! Dimensions are 15” deep, 36” wide and 49” high. It came from an estate and there is no known history of where it was made or the exact age. I’d say it’s certainly pre- WW2. Right away you see the profile of the gallery on top as being south west inspired I think. And the main colors are a light blue/green or turquoise and there is a faded rose undertone visible in places. The doors are joined in the corners and they operate fine. See all photos and zoom in on details. There is some of the half round green trim molding missing. I haven’t cleaned the piece and you are buying “as is”. The back is composed of pine boards placed vertically, and side by side with no joints. There are detail pictures of the feet which have a simple carved form. It’s notable that the feet retain full length and are not rotted or worn down. The full length of the feet allows for having all the original proportions intact. I don’t know the actual weight. It is available by local pick up only. If you come to see it and decide it’s not for you of course I would do a return provided it stays here. I am not interested in shipping it. Be aware the paint is in flaky condition and handling the piece and washing it will cause paint loss I would think. Also I don’t know what types of paint might be present.
