Description: SATO RACING Engine Sliders for 2021-23 Yamaha MT-09/ SP and 2022-23 XSR900 (part# Y-MT0921ES) feature slider pucks made out of high density black DELRIN, a tough, abrasion-resistant plastic material with low-friction properties ideal for protecting the bike from scrapes or more serious damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The sliders have a standoff sufficient to keep the engine case and surrounding exposed parts from touching the pavement during a slide, with the pucks absorbing and dissipating any potential damage. The slider pucks are mounted to the engine case cover on both sides with high strength anodized billet aluminum brackets and collars, and stainless steel bolts. (L/R Set of 2) NOTE: The left side 'fit' photos also show our 'Timing Hole Plug' engine slider part# THP-Y2. It should also be noted that the slider puck material is very hard so it can perform well in an extended slide, but the rigid design means it might not be as effective protection in a kickstand fallover and other hard falls with blunt force impact.
