Description: Offered is a quite scarce Tacoma Washington Union Club restaurant receipt statement for F. M. Wade ( Florence Maxson Wade ). He was born in 1845 and settled in Tacoma where he established several banks in the area including the National Bank of Tacoma, the Capital National Bank of Olympia, and the Bellingham Bay National Bank. The Union Club was established in Tacoma, Wa in 1888 when Washington was still a Territory. It still is in existance today and is a very popular place. This 1891 receipt was for 2 lunch meals and 2 coffees.The receipt size is 5 7/8" by 4 1/4", and it's in used condition with wear, and a small tear of the upper left corner as seen in the photos.
