When I contacted the maker, they sent the following information: the below serial number would indicate that your CHB saddle was made on the Hennig tree which is adjustable in the tree and gullet angle. However, due to this saddles age, the adjustments may be somewhat limited. The 2 -17 indicates that the saddle has a 17 inch seat and made on our number two length tree. The CHB saddle was designed with a centered seat and a very straight flap for riders who prefer a straight leg with more support.
