The color seems to stay a pretty consistent bright almost bright lime green. As opposed to S. kraussiana this species grows more in a mound and doesnt wander. This Selaginella species does not tolerate drying out, and prefers to stay moist. Overall this is an amazing species to use as a foreground plant.
