German KPM porcelain plaque of Oedipus and Antigone after a painting by Emil Teschendorff 1833-1894, rectangular form presented in a gilt scrolling wood frame, marked KPM, sight 8 1/4" ht by 5 1/2" wide. Overall 20" ht. The frame in a newer (but vintage) addition.Overall, the piece is in excellent condition, free of concerns. The frame shows light wear to the velvet.
