Description: Signed by Tom Clancy on the half title page without inscription, with 1 in its print run, this is a first printing of the true First American Edition of Clear and Present Danger (NY, G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1989) his sequel to Hunt For Red October/Patriot Games and basis of the Harrison Ford and William Dafoe film. The book is in very good condition in a square slightly shaken binding that’s not as tight as a finer copy. Exterior shows a touch of wear to heel and edges and spine with a minor indentation. Page ends are a little tanned in spots. Interior is fine with no names or errant marks. Sans brodart cover, the variant copper dust jacket is priced and in very good condition with no chips or tears but a couple of wrinkles and light wear to edges.
