Description: Used DF1769 DC Regulated Power Supply. 50-53 amps. Held 55 amps with no problem on my carbon pyle load tester. Recently, I had to put a new aluminum plate in the base which strengthened the entire unit up and made it far more rigid. I feel good about it not getting twisted again. The OEM plate was frankly not stout enough for the iron core transformer in this unit and it had bent. I also installed 2 new binding terminals to the front of the unit as well as a new ON/OFF switch. I think this unit is actually better built than an Astron. It certainly is heaver.
