Description: This is a beautiful vintage Singer model 404 sewing machine. It is in excellent condition with a few minor marks here and there. I have opened up the machine and oiled and greased it at all the Singer recommended points. It runs at a blur. The light works and it uses a drop in bobbin. The threading diagram in inside the left hand cover. Singer calls this the "Finest straight stitch sewing machine ever built." This is a simple to use machine for beginners or for veteran sewers. I used the manual to find all the accessories it originally came with. This is a slant model machine which means the needle arm comes down at an angle.
