The book was conceived alongside the three comics story arcs that I wrote for Dark Horse, and which are being reprinted by Marvel in March 2023 as part of Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Old Republic Vol. 5. There's actually a sample of the comics in the middle of the novel, the only Star Wars novel to have anything like that. (It's also why eBay insists on placing the book in the "comics" category."
