Description: For auction is a superb collectable, a Signed Limited Edition of Stephen King's/Richard Bachman's The Regulators. The limited was published by Dutton in a unique MotoKops 2200 Power Wagon toy box. Since Bachman was technically dead, the publisher used actual checks as signature sheets, with King signing using Richard Bachman's name. Each check is unique. This check is number 341 (the numbered edition size was 500 - 52 lettered editions) and is made out to "George Stark" for "protection." Easily one of the best checks, as George Stark (himself a pseudonym in the book), the antagonist of The Dark Half, which was originally supposed to be published as a collaboration between King and Bachman. The book is in near fine, unread condition, with a tight binding. The black cloth case is in very good condition. The cloth case has exterior scuffing from being on a shelf, and some interior scuffing from opening and closing the box - common to this edition. The picture on the front of the case is in near fine condition. The pictures are accurate.
