This book is difficult to date - it was originally published in 1899 as "A New Wonderland," but was renamed with the alliterative title to capitalize on the success of Baum's other work The Wizard of Oz. 237 pages. Dimensions are 9" x 7.5". Blue cloth hardcover with illustrated label on front cover. Color illustrations on end pages. Condition: Good condition. Pencil writing across first blank page and pencil drawing on one of the end blank pages. Moderate wear to boards, particularly around edges and corners. Binding remains sturdy, there is some wear on the cover of the binding. A few areas of discoloration, some staining to covers.
