Description: Vintage Wizard of Oz poster autographed by five of the original munchkins. Poster from 1989, autographed in 1994. 22"x34" Lithographed in Canada Excellent, never used or hung up. One of the nicest licensed commercial posters, produced in the late 1980's and now pretty tough to find (you can buy bootleg copies of it done to order, but this is an ORIGINAL and not often offered). Signed by five original Munchkins when they appeared at a Pennsylvania convention around 1990- I can't recall the details, but it has been in my collection for 30 or 35 years after obtaining it in person..Signers are CLARENCE SWENSON- a Munchkin soldierKARL SLOVER- First trumpeter MARGARET PELLEGRINI- a "sleepyhead" flowerpot as well as a Munchkin villagerMEINHARDT RAABE- the coroner ("And she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead"). Trivia bit- Meinhardt was the first driver of the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile!JERRY MAREN- the "Lollipop Kid". He was the last surviving Munchkin when he died in 2018.
