Description: This vintage (40+ yrs old) lot of six 7” #414 Tomic salmon plugs is a must-have for any saltwater fishing enthusiast. These have never been used and come in the original box. Box is in rough shape but has been sitting around over 40 years. Unable to find vintage #414 so we wrote the company and they said: “I notice the scale pattern is not like the scale we would use today for the 414, it’s what we call old scale. It was long retired when we bought the company in 2003. I also notice I think the tow bar (metal piece that is molded into the plug) is stamped out of a sheet of metal so tow bar is flat. Newer models have a round wire tow bar. I don’t know when they made the switch from flat tow bars to round ones but I’m sure it was a least 20 years before we bought company, perhaps longer than that.”
