Description: This is an original and Rare early M1907 winter cap. These were brought back into service 1940-41 and then replaced by the later pile cap. This is the kind also used by FDR's CCC or Civilian Conservation Corps. This is in very good condition and ready for your collection or use. The tag is missing but this fits like a 7 1/8 plus it is marked on the inside. It is kind of an greenish OD. There is some fading and it is dusty from long term storage. (see pictures) This has the transitional piping on the bill. The buckle on the chin strap is intact and in excellent condition. I have included a picture from the Government Issue Collectors Guide book for reference purposes. Don't miss a chance to snag a real one.
