This is a framed 12"x14" Abraham Lincoln Genuine Hair Lock with official sealed stamp from the Regent Gallery Collection, and rare detailed description of acquisition time and source. The piece is matted and framed along with a photo, signature representation, and plaque with the unique detailed description of how the memorabilia was acquired. The plaque reads: "Abraham LincolnFebruary 12th, 1809 - April 15th, 1865Abraham Lincoln hair lock containing several strands of authentic genuine Abraham Lincoln hair. Cut during trimmings from the former President's wife Mary Todd, given as an anniversary gift to Winston and Margaret Doyle on the 28th of March, 1861. The lock was obtained from Son Robert Doyle with signed certification on 2nd October 1882.
