Original cold paint is in exceptional shape, virtually all intact except for some of the gold on the base and the globe's handle (see photos). Note how pristine the glaze remains -- interior is immaculate, looks never to have been used Hard to find item, especially in this condition. Have discovered an old hairline over California (see photo # 8), price reduced accordingly. Does not really affect appearance for display.
