Description: APPRAISED AT $800-$1200. This 2 piece hutch belonged to the prominent Hatcher Family of Macon, GA. The woman was the daughter of the man who invented the Georgia Belle peach. It does have some issues. We have not found the key to bottom drawer/cabinets, but you can get the bottom cabinet open with a knife, and the top of the pull-out is damaged. Otherwise, it is beautiful. Specifics from appraiser: Later 19th century, 1890's, Victorian era, Second American Empire style, book matched flame mahogany veneer, sideboard hutch with pull out writing desk and glass front secretary top. Base is 30" tall. Hutch is 54" tall. 42" wide.
