Vintage 1950s Womens Polka Dot Shirt Dress Summer Frock Westbury Fashions S/M

Description: A lovely vintage estate found 1950s Women's Polka Dot Shirt Dress. A perfect summer frock as it is a lightweight material and light in color! Tag reads Westbury Fashions. The material is I am guessing a rayon or rayon blend, it has a smooth "Crepe" feel to it with a light texture. It does have a sheerness to it so you may want to wear a slip underneath. The bottom skirted section has lots of pleats to create a full wide skirts that sways and flows very nicely. There are darts at the bust line for e abetter fit. Small collar. Sleeves roll up as a large cuff. Two big buttons close the front along with a snap. There is a generous opening on which to pull it on. It is truly a gorgeous feminine dress! Good pre owned vintage condition. A few small spots found on collared section and one large light splotch on front of dress, these may come out with washing/soaking. This item has not been laundered. Oxyclean works wonders, you may want to try it. One seam has come undone about 2" on the slit where the dress snaps up, this is located deep in a pleat and doesn't affect the look. Same with the larger splotch, because there are so many folds to the dress it is hard to see and because of how light the splotch is. I actually didn't even see it until I laid the dress out completely flat to take a photo. The colors were a bit hard to capture so I would describe them as a creamy vanilla white with pastel blue and green dots. Please inspect photos carefully using the zoom tool provided.
