Vintage 1957 re-issue Fender Stratocaster Custom Guitar 1989

Description: Vintage 1957 re-issue Fender Stratocaster Custom Guitar 1989 with Tweed Case. Condition is Seller refurbished. This guitar has a story with . I bought this body, plate and neck from the top salesmen for Fender in the Country in 1989 from National Speaker in Denver CO. He went to the Fender factory and picked out a neck, body and plate for his reward from Fender. They said they never did that before and it's the first time doing so. He had it in the stores showcase to show it off. I caught him while he was broke and bought the guitar from him and had in customized at the Guitar Clinic in Denver CO. They custom painted the guitar metal flake blue with silver shooting stars on the back. It has the re-issue 1957 Jackson Pick ups and a Hipshot locking Tremelo spring on the back. I found an article in Guitar Player magazine and it had a modification switch to give you an additional 8 sounds on top of the 5 sounds you get from a regular strat by adding a multi point 4 way switch replacing one of the tone knobs on the bottom. The tech said it took him 80 hours as there were so many contacts to put all the pickups in phase and out of phase, in parrallel and in series. He also said he got burnt on the job since he gave me one price and that he would never do a switch like that again. This guitar has a one of a kind sound and has very little play on it as I have several guitars. It's painted with blue metalflake and is strung right handed with brass nut. This guitar is in great shape with one noticable wear to the body as picture shows and the case is a little worn with a rip on the side. This guitar is sold in as is condition with no returns. This guitar is for local pickup or will ship if buy pays shipping and insurance. I won't take responsibility for damages during shipment.
