Description: Vintage 1960s Aranka Gyorky Asymmetrical Silk Gown Taupe Purple Green AS IS. Here we have an authentic couture silk strapless gown designed by Aranka Gyorky in the 1960s. The asymmetrical gown is made mostly from a taupe colored satin with contrasting bright green and purple silk pieces gathered and tucked at the bust. The bodice is incredibly tailored with elaborate craftsmanship and boning. A long taupe piece of satin is attached at the waist to be worn over the shoulder. There is a metal zipper down the center back that is in working condition. This gown is in very delicate wearable vintage condition. There are many spots of delicate shattering as pictured. Snaps are missing that fasten the layers of silk at the bust. There are stains throughout the dress. Please view all photos prior to purchasing, this item is sold.
