Description: Vintage 1960s MCM Classic Fire King Golden Wheat Creamer, Sugar, and Platter Set This1960s Mid-Century Modern Fire King creamer, sugar, and platter set features the classic Americana “Wheat” pattern. Shafts of warm yellow wheat have accents of ochre and grey details decorate Fire King's trademark high-gloss, luminous white milk glass. The creamer is 2 ¾” high, 4 ½” long from spout to handle, has a 3 ¼” diameter at its mouth, and a 2 ½” diameter at its base. It’s marked “Oven Ware 3, and has a 7 oz. capacity. The sugar bowl is 2 7/8” high, 5” long from handle to handle, has a 3 ¼” diameter at its mouth, and a 2 5/8” diameter at its base. It’s marked “Oven Ware 14” and has a 7 oz. capacity. The platter is 12” long, 9” wide, and rises to 1”. The back is marked “Oven Ware 12”. Together this set weighs 2 pounds 9.7 ounces. This set is in beautiful vintage condition, but does have some age-appropriate wear on the designs here and there, most notably on the sugar bowl.
