Vintage 1970's 17" Starlight GOLD Base Clear/Blue Green LAVA LAMP Works VIDEO

Description: Thank You for your interest! This is for a Vintage Original 1970's 17" tall Starlight Gold Base with Clear Liquid Blue Green Lava LAVA LAMP. Groovy! Oh the memories it brings back. It is approximately 17" tall total, light itself is 11 1/4" tall by 4 1/2". Base is approximately 7" tall by 6". Has Aug 1972 on the base bottom. Light is thick glass with clear liquid and a blue green lava. Has gold tone cap and base is gold tone. This is in very good clean condition for its age and use. Base is not scratched up, no dents, does not leak, very good to great clean condition. Has been in a non-smoking pet free environment. The top of the base where the lava sits, the pictures make it look silver but it is not, it is gold as the rest of the base. On the underside of the base it looks like someone may have un-screwed the screw and over tightened it because the bottom at the screw is dented in just a touch. Also not sure if the bulb housing has been replaced? and that is why the screw was un-screwed? or original. This works very well, and does take a bit of time to heat up and get the lava flowing well, typical for these. So be patience with it. Watch the VIDEO to see it work. In the video it had not run very long so lava hasn't had the chance to heat up properly and flow better. The longer you run it the better the lava will flow. Also the base will heat up and be hot to the touch because of the bulb. This takes a 40 watt A15 appliance bulb NOT included. Please contact me with any questions or concerns before you purchase.
