There is a screw closure on one side which opens up the bank to remove your treasure. Measures 5-1/4" long x 4-1/4" high x 1-3/4" wide and weighs 1 pound 9 ounces unpackaged. There is gold paint loss all over the lion and there are no cracks or breaks. The screw opens easily.
