Description: Lamp still works even with original wiring Cardboard base on the bottom has warped so the utensils do not sit flat - this can easily be fixed by replacing the piece of board on the bottom Comes with all pieces shown, including two ink wells and a wooden fountain pen with an unknown tip The tip is marked, but I cannot make out the inscription / makers marks Metal base with Bakelite inkwell tops as well as some metal accents and a match box / letter holder behind the pen holder stand Beautiful desktop piece This desktop lamp does have some signs of use and age There are some marks as well as patina on the piece One ink well base is chipped Some paint on the cord - this is the original wiring it appears so I would highly recommend replacing it if you plan to use this long-term Appears this was a ~1920’s candle stand that was “electrified” in the 1940’s or 1950’s to add the lamp aspect
