Description: This cake stand is gorgeous. Vintage from the 1960's is my best guess and cut glass that just sparkles. So pretty. It is on a cup shaped pedestal and looks gorgeous with a cake or pie on it, but also is a wonderful centerpiece piled high with some pinecones and berries or with candles with a pile of chocolate chip cookies. BUT WAIT.... Flip it over - as I did for pictures and you find a bonus use for this beauty. The pedestal base literally is a cup shape that could be filled with dip and you could pile some veggies or fruit around the "cup" on the underside of the plate which would be your new platter. Again, it will work for a centerpiece upside down too. Add a candle in the center and some greens around it with some fairy lights that will sparkle on that cut glass.
