Vintage Googly Big Eyed Bisque Splash Me Flapper Doll 5" Tall Germany c1920s

Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. I purchased this doll with a small collection of Splash Me doll items. There was actually a twin of this doll in the group that I already sold. I am not sure if officially she is a Splash Me doll, but she does have very big blue glass eyes and long hand painted eyelashes like the Splash Me dolls. She has her blonde hair up with a pink headband. Her dress is netting with a liner and lace with a pink belt that comes into a big bow on the back.. There is a pink ribbon with lace at the bottom edge as her undergarments. Her clothes are glued onto her bisque body. I believe she was redressed. Her arms are jointed. I cannot read whether she is marked Germany, but she is German. She is 5" tall x 2-1/2" wide at the hands x 1-1/2" deep. She is from the 1920s.On the surface this doll is quite nice. She is clean and very cute!! Her arms are loose and tied with string that is no longer elastic. There is a small, flat chip on the inside right arm that you can see in the last picture.
