This is a divine pattern for a wonderful mid length sleeved jumper / blouse with it's extraordinarily beautiful cable and garter-stitch stitch work and beautiful neckline. I adore this pattern and it is not as difficult as it looks to create! A lovely design for warmer months and a little out of the ordinary! This jumper comes in two sizes and has been designed to fit either a 34 and 36 inch bust and was originally constructed in 3-ply Fingering yarn on No.10 and No.12 needles (you will also need a double pointed needle for cable). You may wish to try a modern 4-ply to make this jumper, as vintage yarns were 'heavier' than todays modern yarns, but would recommend working a tension square in modern 4-ply first to see if a change of needles is needed (tension information etc. below).If you purchase any of my vintage copied patterns you can enjoy free p&p on any vintage knitting needles purchased from my shop.
