Vintage Ludwig Snare Drum Black Oyster Pearl Jazz Fest 6 ply Maple Shell re-wrap

Description: Free FedEx Shipping! Up for sale is one vintage late 1970's Ludwig snare drum. Re-wrapped in Bumwrap's "Black Oyster Pearl" and their nice reproduction Keystone badge with brass grommet.Check out the last picture as this was created cutting a 10" x 14" Ludwig concert tom in half. This is the bottom half of the shell. Nice smooth original bearing edge on one side so I filed and sanded a matching edge on the other side. Then cut two snare beds.This is the Jazz Festival model, 5" x 14". Thick 6 ply shell with clear maple insides.I put on eight 1960's chrome bowtie lugs, P-83 throw off and butt plate. Both have the Ludwig block logo on them.The two rims are newer Gibraltar's. Both Remo heads and 16 tension rods are brand new. Snare wires are used. Note: 1) the four small holes from the clip mount have been plugged and sanded flush. 2) the top edge of the P-83 knob is ruffed up (brass). This custom build snare came out nice!This item is used but feel safe in buying as I have described it honestly, and you have the 24 super-size pictures to help judge condition by.
