Description: This vintage Navajo sterling silver turquoise lighter case features intricate handcrafted detailing typical of Navajo jewelry. Case is hand constructed with a beautifully made saw tooth bezel mount displaying a stunning turquoise cabochon stone, along with a skillfully applied round silver rope motif that encircles the turquoise piece and mount, for a nice Southwestern effect. Nicely stamped designs are seen along the trim of the reinforcement pieces. A unique piece that exemplies traditional Navajo craftsmanship and designs, making it a valuable collectible for those interested in Native American art and culture. 2 3/4" by 1 1/8". 20.8 grams.
