Description: This is a Vintage MCM Heywood-Wakefield oval vanity stool or ottoman. It measures 23" x 16"x 16". It's like a terry fabric, kind of a scratchy feeling, but yet I like the way it feels. It's got some light wear such as some thin spots, but nothing major and no rips or holes. There is a couple of stains on top, I didn't want to scrub or try to clean in because I was afraid I might make it worse or damage it so I am leaving it to the buyer. It's very sturdy. All legs are good and it is stamped on the bottom Heywood-Wakefield. I dont know if the wood was stained like you see it during manufacturing or if someone did it later on. I think it's a great mcm piece and could be for a vanity, stool, or ottoman. Perhaps in a bedroom to use when putting on your shoes. Very cool!
