Description: VINTAGE, PRIMITIVE, 2lb FRANK COOPER, OXFORD, SEVILLE MARMALADE POT from the c1900s period that has been found buried a few years ago. Measuring just under 12cm high by 11.5cm in diameter across the rim the pot is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being white and clean with very faint glaze cracking, gloss sheen to the glaze surface having no tarnish or stains. There are two fine glaze lines to the right hand side and front which are perfectly stable, the pot rings rock solid when rapped hard with the knuckles. Plus manufacturers kiln blow faults which are only to be expected of these mass produced throwaway pots of the time. Please note each pot is hand made and has its own individual markings making it unique and different.
