Description: This listing is for both mafrash. Synonymous with the Qashqai, South West Persia. Useful and rather lovely as well as being remarkably robust.They hold a huge amount and look great as an item of soft furnishing. When not in use, they fold away and don't take up much room. Dating back to the mid 1900s. Fabric and leather straps are in excellent condition. Hand woven using weft float weave to create the dazzling decoration and tough fabric. Measuring approximately 110cm x 40cm x 40cm, which equates to about 176 cubic litres of storage space or 2.7 cubic feet. Having recently downsized I don’t have room to display all the fabrics I have accumulated over the years and think it would be sad to keep them in boxes. I am a collector, not a dealer, and in most cases the prices I am asking are well below market value.
