Description: Sansui 5050 Stereo Receiver in Very Good condition. I acquired this after having been tech serviced and cleaned. I enjoyed having it as my main receiver for several years, but I've since replaced it with something newer and now I need to declutter. 45 watt per channel power rating. Volume, bass, treble, and balance controls operate smooth and quiet. I did end up replacing the original green lights with blue LEDs. However, the right most lamp on the dial has a tendency to flicker and go out. The lamps behaved and remained lit long enough for the photos, though. One other issue I would experience was with the input selector. Switching to phono would cause the right channel to go out. It could be fixed by selecting back to FM briefly, then to Phono. The pot probably needs extra cleaning I'm guessing; beyond my scope of expertise. The laminate enclosure seems to be in excellent condition with no scratches. Due to parts swappers and scammers returns are not accepted and also as with most vintage electronics, there is NO warranty. I am not an experienced technician and the condition is described to the best of my knowledge. For me this was an enjoyable and solid sounding piece of equipment, but it's time to find it a new home.
