Vintage SEGUSO VIRO Murano Venetian Art Glass Volcanic Style Vase Signed Italy

Description: This listing is for an unusual Murano Art Glass vase made by Giampaolo Seguso. This tall vintage Vase has a volcanic style decoration. The glass is a pale topaz/amber color with the decoration applied to the outside of the vase in a darker topaz color in a vertical ribbed pattern with a cracked ice texture. There are some vertical bands randomly spaced throughout the design and one horizontal band on the lower body that leave a slightly indented texture on the outer body. Where the darker crackled bands meet at the neck of the vase, the glass has an opalescent appearance. Marked on the bottom of the vase "Seguso Viro, Murano". Seguso Viro is the trade name used by Giampaolo Seguso, the son of the famous Archimede Seguso.
