Description: Vintage CIRCLE Y 153 marked split ear headstall. Fully lined and stitched, with 3 piece adjustment buckles on each side. The hardware is all nickel silver, nicely engraved; no marks. The tip of one buckle set is missing and it appears the end of the leather has broken off. No other damage, leather is supple and pliable with slight age cracking in a couple of places; stitching is intact. Long shank snaffle bit has full nickel silver overlay, nicely engraved. No makers marks. Shanks are approx. 8" long, the mouth is approx. 4 7/8" wide. Good used condition, light surface rust and patina, silver is intact. Please email with questions before bidding.
