It is about 9" tall. It has a wood base with darling painting of fir and berries. The man and woman are in fabulous shape. The house is also in very good shape. The trees, the little bird on the roof and the deer are very good and the original paints is crisp and shiny.I only clean the outside with distilled water and organic cotton swabs. The mechanism is Thorens and plays “ Lang Lang ist's her”. Thorens hails from Switzerland and is well known for the wonderful music box mechanisms they make and they last for many many years!
