Description: Oh the rabbit hole I have been down trying to research this beauty. It is by Tiki Soul and the design is by David "Squid" Cohen. His squid logo is on the back of the mug. It is a wood grain paint on ceramic with a red glazed interior. It is vintage from the Tiki revival period. Who knew? Which dates it to the 1980's or early 90's as the artist was born in 1960 it cannot be Mid-Century as some have listed it. That said, It is in very good condition. It is a Ku Ku Kachoo mug a phrase made famous in from the Simon & Garfunkel song "Mrs. Robinson" and more recently from the movie "Finding Nemo" by Crush the surfer dude sea turtle. in the case of Hawaiian culture though the word "Ku" can relate to a Hawaiian god named
