Description: Here is a very interesting kids rocking chair probably from the turn of the century but possibly a bit earlier as it has a Victorian feel to it with some of its details. Both the seat and the back are cane and it has a green floral motif painted near the top center. It also has X shaped supports for the arms and other intricate carvings as well. It has a very Gothic aura about it primarily because the entire chair is painted black and I believe that was its original color. The condition is very good although the small crack mentioned above might make the chair much more of a display piece than something for a young, rambunctious kid. You don't see these very often in black especially with the cane completely intact. It's definitely an eyecatcher for all you Goth lovers out there. Thanks for looking.
