What we have here is a vintage Pflueger INTEROCEAN No. 1888 conventional reel, circa early 30’s/40’s, made in U.S.A. It’s very clean, lubricated, and operates smoothly. The reel features German silver construction of all metal parts including the spool, black hard rubber side plates on/off free spool, a “clicker,” and a black wood handle that turns freely. It features a gear ratio of 2:1 and 250-yard #9 linen line capacity (250 yards of 20/25 lb. test monofilament). This rugged reel measures 3¼” in diameter, 2 5/16” across the side plates. It weighs 16.1 oz.Comes with a photocopy of the reel box label (NO BOX)!Flat $5.00 S&H. my choice of carrier!
