VL1089 Antique c1926 Semi-Flush Mount Large Ceiling Light Moe Bridges

Description: This light by Moe Bridges Company, Milwaukee, WI dates to 1926. It was removed from a Milwaukee, WI funeral home right prior to demolition and we were thrilled to be able to save and restore it. It is large in scale and measures 13"dia. and will drop 16" from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial once installed. The "Focalite" fitter is stamped brass, has the original Moe Bridges Statuary Bronze (see last photo for catalog page and narrative) finish and has only been lightly cleaned. It is 6 3/8"dia. x 5"h and has a gravity fitter (or according to MB, "safety holder") that is stamped "Moe Bridges Company" on the inside and also a patent date of Nov. 23 '26. The molded milk glass shade is in excellent condition with no cracks to the glass and measures 13"w x 11"h and has a 6" fitter. The shade has a solid brass tassel finial which adds a nice touch. This light accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar and will be ready to install.
