Description: Late 50s-early 60s two-tone ribbed bomber jacket by “Raleigh Sportswear”. Black wide rib collar inset & banding on exterior edge of front pockets, way-cool mid-century cotton print lining. Two-button adjustable cuffs. Heavy gauge brass zipper w/Serval pull tab. Black rayon lines the interior sleeves. This color is tough to describe. It’s kind of a cross between a bronzed brown (not orange) & nutmeg (view the color in the color-up of the zipper, that’s the most true). Gussets at the sides of the waist. Measures chest-40”, waist-38”, sleeve-23”, shoulder seam to seam-16 1/2”, length rear nape seam to hem-22 1/4”. Fantastic shape, gussets are a bit stretched out, small mend under one armpit (pic). No stains, no spots, no holes or tears. This exterior fabric has a very fine rib texture, I believe it’s all rayon but it may have a hint of cotton. Lighter in weight. That’s “Riff” from the original film “West Side Story”. Incredibly sick piece of men’s vintage.
