Description: This is my sister's small Chinese Bouquet Apponyi Herend tray. It comes with a wall hanger. On the bottom, is painted Herend Hungary Handpainted 7705/AP with 18 in red on one side. It is lightly impressed on the opposite side Herend 7705 68. The tray is small, measuring about 5-1/4" wide by 3-3/4" high by 5/8" deep. I believe it is from the '60s or '70s, but I am not an expert. I added information about the pattern from the Herend website below. Shipping: I will ship with large cushion bubble wrap in a freezer bag with air, and more large cushion bubble wrap in a sturdy clean recycled box. Thanks for looking. From Herend.at: Chinese Bouquet – Apponyi, one of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory’s most popular décors, developed out of the Fleurs des Indes decoration...a motif in Chinese style: the Fleurs des Indes (Flowers of the Indies) motif of a peony surrounded by leaves. Round the edge of the well runs a garland of stylized leaves, broken periodically by gilded and incised rosettes. On the ledge there is a contoured pattern of a flower surrounded by six leaves, decorated with sparkling flecks of gold. The origin of the Herend pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of Fleurs des Indes was first prepared. The original Apponyi décor comes in green colour variant. Later on, the Chinese Bouquet pattern comes in several different colours. The artists of Herend paint variants in purple, powder pink, green, orange, blue, yellow, lilac, maroon, black, turquoise and combination of colours.
